Packing my things...
Ik kijk er al twee maanden naar uit: samen met mijn lief op verlof. Gewoon weg van de dagelijkse sleur. Relaxen. Weg met de stress. Genieten van elkaar. Lekker eten en drinken. Misschien zelfs een wandelingetje.We kozen voor een welnesshotel in het Duitse Bad Neuenahr. Dat kuuroord ligt tussen Bonn en de Moezelstreek, langs de Ahr-rivier en te midden van talrijke wijn-velden, op zo'n 300km van Brussel.
Ik ben echt beniewd. Niet alleen omdat dit onze eerste echte relatietest is (zwoele vrouwenstem fluistert op de achtergrond: "temptation") maar ook omdat ik me de laatste vijf jaar enkel bezig heb gehouden met avontuurlijke klimtrips, wintertrekkings en rugzakvakanties. Het pakken van mijn valies duurde bijna zo lang als voor de Bolivia Expeditie in 2006 (zie foto). De verschillen zijn enorm: geen klimmateriaal, geen 10kg snacks, geen goretex-broek, geen medicijnen tegen hersen-oedeem, maar wel meer dan 1 onderbroek, een schoon hemdje en dito broek, douchegel (!), een badhanddoek, een zwembroek, ... Ik zit hier al de hele avond te denken dat ik iets vergeten ben. Binnen een paar dagen zal ik het wel ontdekken zeker?
PS: De vaste waarden gaan natuurlijk ook nog steeds mee: mijn loopschoenen en mijn fototoestel. Tot binnenkort!
